Hotel Introduction

The Hotel Die Krone is more than 300 years old and lies directly on the Lake of Constance. It offers a widely known restaurant with an excellent mediterranean cuisine. The Design-Gourmet-Restaurant is situated in the second floor. We dedicated our house to the most famous kingdoms and their representatives. We have 26 rooms in two categories: The king’s rooms and the prince’s rooms. The owner personally runs the hotel and guarantees lots of charme in a breathtakingly beautiful scenery. The hotel offers a wonderful terrace with a lounge as well, a small in-house-cinema and conference rooms.

Accommodation

The completely renovated king’s-rooms are dedicated to the most famous kings and queens of middle Europe and offer best design and timeless luxury, most of them with fantastic view onto the lake. We have double rooms, junior suites and one suite with fire-place. The prince’s rooms are not or just slightly renovated, but still nicely furnished. They offer lower-budget-accomodation for people and families who nevertheless would like to enjoy the marvellous atmosphere of the hotel.

On the first floor, we fulfill your culinary dreams in the stylishly designed Gourmet restaurant Der Schwarze Schwan („Black Swan“) with big chandeliers and fantastic view onto the water. It's perfect for people who like a quiet and elegant atmosphere.

Die Kronenstube
The Kronenstube in the ground floor has seen a big face-lifting and is now a real pearl. You dine in an elegant atmosphere on noble wooden tables and enjoy the beautiful old fireplace. The Kronenstube is the place to be together with other people and where it's not always completely silent.

Located idyllically near the pristine reed landscape of the Seerhein, Gottlieben offers a whole world of adventure in one spot. The harmony of the village atmosphere, its magnificent timber framed houses and idyllic spots are a delight to eyes and soul, as are the change from shady avenues to a sunlit boardwalk. A highly renowned gastronomy builds the brightly sensuous context. The mild climate at Lake Constance, a unique southern island north of the Alps, invites you in all seasons to Gottlieben, be it for a seminar, a family party, a short vacation, a relaxing rest on a business trip or simply a delicious meal.
