Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Security
CDG Security Tips
As with most airports in the EU, there are strict regulations on which items may be carried within your hand luggage. Liquid restrictions apply so ensure all your hand luggage liquids, gels and gas items are stored seperately in the airport-regulation plastic bag.
Airport security strongly advises against passengers accepting luggage from other travellers, and from leaving their own luggage unattended.
Random inspections are carried out at the security gate, hence you may be asked to submit to a body inspection even if the alarm has not gone off. This is in accordance with European regulations.
Baggage Storage/Left Luggage
Unfortunately for reasons of safety, the luggage storage services have been suspended at Roissy-CDG, in compliance with current anti-terrorist legislation. You can however store luggage at the major train stations.
