Melbourne Airport Car Parking

Introduction

Melbourne Airport offers short term, long term and business parking areas. Disabled passenger parking is offered in the Business parking area.

Passengers arriving at the parking area should allow plenty of time to comply with the security procedures that may include a full vehicle inspection.

Short Term Parking

Short Term Parking is situated directly opposite the international terminal. Most parking spaces are undercover. This parking area is projected to be most useful for those meeting or bidding farewell to travelers, and passengers on domestic flights returning within the day.

A ticket is issued on entry, and tariffs are charged by automatic machines (which accept cash or credit cards) on levels G and 2 or at the Customer service office on ground level.

Long Term Car Parking

Melbourne Airport's Long Term Car Park offers 4800 parking spaces positioned at not too great a distance form the terminals. A courtesy bus runs twenty four hours a day on a 20 minute loop. Payments can be made through Automated Kerbside Payment machines located at the terminal, or by passing one's credit card through the car park boom gate on entry and departure.

Business Parking

Melbourne's Business Car Park is situated directly opposite the Qantas Domestic Terminal and next to the South Terminal.

Disabled Parking

The disabled parking spaces in the Business parking area are adjacent to the exit.
