Special assistance within the airport terminals

Each of Heathrow Airport's (LHR) terminals feature facilities such as induction loops, wheelchair accessible telephones and text phones for the hard of hearing and reserved seating areas, which are identified by the use of special needs pictograms. A unisex accessible toilet is located near most toilet blocks. A help bus offering free wheelchair accessible services to passengers with reduced mobility operates between all terminals and the central bus station.

Special Assistance Parking

Disabled parking bays are available in each of the airport's parking lots and are located close to the terminal entances or elevators. In car parks located further away from the airport, the disabled parking bays are located close to the shuttle bus stops.
