London Gatwick Ground Transportation Transportation London Gatwick Airport is served directly by train, shuttle, bus, and taxi. Train Service Gatwick railway station is located very close to the South terminal, accessible by escalator and lifts, and is only a few minutes from the North terminal by a transit train service. The Gatwick Express is a fast train service running to and from Victoria Station in the center of London. Coaches and Buses Destinations such as Heathrow, central London , Bristol , Brighton, Birmingham , Oxford , Cambridge and Norwich are directly connected with the airport through the coach service. National Express and Oxford Bus Company coaches operate from the upper terminal forecourt (South Terminal) and many services also available from the North terminal. National Express ticket desks are located in Arrivals area in both the North and the South terminals. There is also a ticket desk and covered waiting area in the South Terminal coach station. Local bus services run direct to and from both Gatwick terminals into Crawley , Horley and Redhill, as well as other local destinations. Fastway (route 10), Gatwick Direct (route 200), and Gatwick Direct (route 100) are the main bus services. Taxis Taxis are provided by the airport's official partner, Checker Cars. Booking offices are in the North Terminal arrivals area and in the northern entrance building leading to the South Terminal. Information on taxis and other private hire vehicles are readily available at the airport information desks. |
