Hong Kong International Airport Car Parking

Introduction

Hong Kong International Airport offers four car parks, all of them close to the Passenger Terminal. Car Parks 1,2 and 3 are open-air. Car park 3 is only open at periods of peak demand. Car park 4 is under cover.

Short-Stay Parking

Complimentary Parking

The car parks do not charge a fee to the drivers of cars parked for less than half an hour. However, should the car be parked for longer than half an hour a charge is levied for all time parked including the first half hour.

Short Stay Parking

The principal short stay space is Car Park 2 but Car Park 3 is open at periods of high demand.

Car parks 1 and 4 also offer short-stay parking.

Long-Stay Parking

HKG offers two car parks with fee structures arranged for travellers wishing to leave their vehicle at the airport for an extended stay.

Car park 1 is open air. Car Park 4 is a multi storey building. Both car parks may also be used for short stays.

Departures Kerb

Departing passengers and their luggage may be dropped off outside the Passenger Terminal on the departures kerb. It is forbidden to park and collect passengers at the departures kerb.
