Introduction
Increased security measures are in operation in UK airports, though since 2001 check-in and flight delays have not increased significantly. Your airline can advise on check-in deadlines, but you should aim to arrive at least three hours before departure for international flights, two hours for European flights and an hour for UK and Ireland flights.

Lost property can be handed in to the airport information desk on the 1st floor. To inquire about items lost at the airport terminal, contact the Glasgow Airport 's lost property office on +44 141 848 4740 or the airport police station on +44 141 848 4515.
Missing baggage :
Please contact the airline in question or the handling agent in regard to missing baggage or items left on an aircraft.

The Information desks located next to American Express on the 1st floor, concourse area and next to entrance 2 of the Main Check-in and Domestic Arrivals provide assistance to stranded travellers.
