Detroit Metro Airport Car Parking

Introduction

There are approximately 20,000 parking spaces available at Detroit Metro Airport, which include short-term, long-term, and valet parking. Each terminal has parking located at a convenient distance. The white terminal-to-terminal shuttles provide free, continuous shuttle service between all Metro Airport terminals and between the terminals and on-airport parking lots. The red parking shuttles provide free, continuous shuttle service from all airport terminals to on-airport parking lots and garages.

McNamara Terminal

A car parking garage with 11,500 spaces is within walking distance of the terminal via a fully enclosed pedestrian bridge on Level 6 and has facilities and tariffs for long-term (daily), short-term (hourly), and valet parking.

The garage has ten levels. FastPay machines are located on Level 6. Paying at these machines enables drivers to use the pre-paid exit lane and so miss the payment queue on exit. Call: +1 800 642 1978 for more information.

Smith Terminal

Long-term (daily) parking and economy parking are available in the Big Blue Deck, a large garage in front of the Smith Terminal. Short-term parking is available in surface lots across the street. Call: +1 800 642 1978 for more information.
