After your history tour at the museum, catch a ride on the Cripple Creek and Victor Gaugen Railroad which will take you on a scenic trip through Cripple Creek to Victor 10 miles away. Free shuttle service is available to our guest from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek. Seven Falls Only 10 minutes from the Best Western Palmer House. You'll find the World famous Seven Falls and South Cheyenne Canyon and all of their natural splendors. A new express elevator which tunnels 170 ft. into the mountain side will whisk you 130 feet up, through the mountain itself to the eagle's nest platform, with the best view of the seven separate falls as they splash and tumble 181 feet down the sheer granite cliff. Or take the majestic walk of the native Americans up 224 steps to the mile long nature trail.
