Parking charges at Chicago ORD are set according to how long drivers intend to stay. In parking lots A, B and C there are two sets of rates: daily and hourly.
There are four areas to park: international lot D, the valet parking lot and economy lots E and F. Economy lot G is no longer open.
Prior to arrival, there is no need to reserve and payments are made upon exit. However drivers should contact the parking department if they intend to leave their car for longer than 30 days. If contact is not made then vehicles left for over 30 days will be deemed abandoned and the vehicle will be towed away at the cost of the owner.
Economy Lot E
Drivers can park and walk to the ATS station, where they will be taking to the terminals. Shuttle buses are also available from this lot. Users of this parking lot should leave half an hour to get to the terminals.
Economy Lot F
Travellers must get on a shuttle bus that will transport them to the ATS station where they can get to all terminals. Please allow at least 45 minutes to get to the terminals from there.
Cell Phone Lots
These areas allow drivers to park free of charge until business associates, friends or family members have collected their baggage and telephoned to be picked up curbside. This lot is located at Economy Parking Lot F. Vehicles must be attended at all times in this area.
Curbside Parking
Waiting by the curb is prohibited at Chicago ORD Airport.
International Parking Lot D
This area is intended for drivers parking for less than three hours and provides short-term parking for those meeting guests at the International Terminal Five.
Main Parking Lot
Hourly Parking - This is located on level one of the garage, it is not recommended for stays over three hours.
Daily Parking - On levels two, three, four, five and six – offers a short walk to terminals one, two and three.
Valet Parking - There are two drop off locations for this area on level one, for close access to terminals one, two and three.
Kiss’n’Fly - Located on Bessie Coleman Drive, this is a way of avoiding airport traffic and is particularly convenient for travellers from the north and north-west areas of Chicago.. It provides passengers. Users of this car park are transported to the ATS, which takes them to all of the terminals. The bus leaves approximately 15 minutes before the METRA train is due to arrive to transport passengers to terminals. Users of this car park should therefore allow at least an hour to get to the terminal buildings.
