Bus Services
An Airport-City Shuttle bus leaves every 30 minutes from outside the Arrivals area of the Beijing Capital International Airport. These buses follow one of three routes into the city of Beijing. These three routes are: Xidan in central Beijing, Gongzhufen in western Beijing and Zhongguancun in the northwest district of Beijing.
Taxi Services
The Beijing Capital International Airport is served round-the-clock by taxis located in front of the airport's terminal building. Taxis are metered, but since most taxi drivers do not speak English, it is advisable that travellers have the hotel or the destination name written in Chinese.
The travelling time from the Beijing Capital International Airport to downtown Beijing is between 40 to 60 minutes.
