Accommodation Restaurants & Lounges Raffles Beijing Hotel has four food and beverage outlets with distinctly different dining concepts to tantalise even the most discerning palate. East 33 is the hotel's 'three meals a day restaurant', with a capacity of 140 inclusive of 20 seats in the two private dining rooms. Offering both Western and Asian cuisine, this all-day dining restaurant is sure to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds with its multitude of culinary delights. The open concept cooking stations can even whip up dishes at diners' requests. Derived from the ancient Sanskrit word for 'bowl', Jaan is an intimate, 72-seat fine dining restaurant. Jaan's cuisine is inspired by modern French cooking and is enhanced by delicate Oriental flavours and scents; all created from the seasons' finest and freshest ingredients that changes with the seasons. The centrepiece of the restaurant is the stunning 1924 original dance floor of which a historic grand piano sits. La Vie is a 40-seat casual lounge offers a fine selection of beverages and an assortment of home-made pastries for traditional afternoon tea. Situated in the grand Lobby of the Main Building, La Vie offers an elegant atmosphere and is the perfect place to while away the afternoon with a good book or simply watch the world go by. Writers Bar is the ideal place to unwind after a long day at work or play. In this cosy bar, which accommodates up to 40, patrons can enjoy a glass of fine wine or spirits, sample the Raffles signature cocktail and choose from a wide collection of Cuban cigars. With soft piano music in the background and unobtrusive service, patrons may even be inspired to pen their own literary work. Meetings Raffles Beijing Hotel offers five function rooms equipped with state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities. The State Building's four function rooms (Sapphire, Opal, Amethyst and Jade) feature intelligent lighting systems, dimmable, motorised batons, special light fixtures and high-tech audio-visual equipment. The Sapphire (178 square metres), Opal (178 square metres) and Amethyst (126 square metres) rooms can be combined into one grand ballroom, the Jewel room (480 square metres). For smaller functions, the Jade room (96 square metres) is also available. For VIP events, the Main Building's exclusive Le Salon Raffles (140 square metres) offers unequivocal privacy for intimate events and parties. It includes a pre-function area where guests can enjoy cocktails and canapés. |
