Ground Transportation
Travelers arriving at the Albany International Airport may opt for taxi-limousine services, bus services or hotel shuttles as ground transportation. The airport terminal houses booths for all services.
Public Bus Services
Five bus lines provide local, regional and long distance transport to passengers. These buses travel to pre-fixed destinations such as Albany, Montreal, Plattsburgh and New York City, which are close to the places travelers wish to go to.
Taxis
Currently, only Albany Yellow Cab Company is under contract to provide taxi services for the patrons of the airport. However, passengers may call other cab companies for their traveling purposes. The taxi stand is located near the baggage claim area.
Limousine
Limousine services are provided by 14 agencies including Advantage, Hollywood, Premiere, White Dove and Transport the People Incorporated.
Hotel Shuttles
Many hotels provide direct transport from the airport to the hotel for the hotel guests. For further details, please contact the relevant hotels. A list of hotels and direct phones for reservations and transportation can be found at the Reservation Center located in the Baggage Claim area on the first level of the terminal.
