Air Zimbabwe Technical Operations comprises three key areas: Technical Services, Aircraft Maintenance, and Workshops.

Our maintenance facility is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ), and is complemented by a highly experienced workforce committed to quality workmanship.


  • Production Planning & Records
  • Planning of aircraft inspections and structural overhauls
  • Production of detailed work plans for hangar checks (A, B, C & D checks)
  • Life control of "Hard Time" and "On Condition" units
  • Track weighing of B737-200, B767-200 ER, and MA60 aircraft
  • Developing and maintenance of type aircraft specifications and Minimum Equipment Lists

    AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE Hangar and Line maintenance of:

  • B767-200ER series, PW4056 engines and the associated GTCP331-200ER APUs
  • B737-200 ADV series, JT8D-17A engines and the associated GTCP 85-129 APUs
  • MA60 series, PW127J engine and the associated GTCP 36-150CY APUs
  • Hamilton Sundstrand 247F-3 propellers
  • A320-200 series (Line Maintenance only)


  • Overhaul of JT 8D-17A engines
  • Split Ship of PW4056 engines
  • Airframe Overhaul Section
  • Lamination, repair of composites, radomes, fairings and ducts
  • Painting of B767-200 ER, B737-200 ADV, MA60, and A320-200 aircraft
  • Repair on aircraft sheet metal parts
