IATA Airline Codes

IATA Airline Codes: These are two-character designation codes assigned by the International Air Transport Association to the world's airlines. Although the IATA standard provides for three-character codes, IATA has not so far used the optional third character in any assigned code. Controlled duplicates are issued to regional airlines whose destinations are unlikely to overlap.
