Stake acquired by Swissair and Austrian AL (22.5%) in 1996. Was to be merged with Air Ukraine and Aero Svit in late 2001, plan cancelled. Austrian stake expected to be increased to 49% during 2005, plan abandonned. 5.97% stake owned by AerCap re-sold back to airline in 12/08, transferred in 3/10 to Ukraine's Capital Investment Projects. Austrian's 22.5% stake resold in 5/10 to European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. 61.58% stake owned by government to be resold (announced 11/11/10). Ownership reorganized in 12/12 between Ontobet Promotions (a Cyprus investment firm) with 25.83%, and Ukraine's Capital Investment Projects with 74.16%.
