Privatized in 1995. BWIA stake increased to 33%, reduced to 29% by 2003. Became a subsidiary of Caribbean International Airways Holding Ltd in 2003 along with BWIA but keeping separate identities. Announced in 12/06 a merger with CaribbeanStar, to be complete 15/6/07. 35% stake to be purchased during summer 2007 by Stanford Financial Group but this company was seized by US authorities in early 2009.

Nationalized in 1974 by Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St.Kitts-Nevis, St.Lucia, St.Vincent & Trinidad-&-Tobago when Court Line collapsed.
