Magnicharters flies passengers to major Mexican tourist areas from its base at Mexico City, and charters in the Americas and Caribbean regions.
The airline was established in 1994 and started operations in January 1995. In June 2008, the SCT, Mexico's federal Secretariat of Communications and Transport, suspended Magnicharters' operations due to a lack of proper maintenance and large debts, and gave the airline 90 days to correct the problems and pay the debts. The problems were solved ten days later and the airline restarted regular operations.

Started trading as "Magni" effective 1/08. AOC suspended 12/6/08 by Mexican DGAC over safety/maintenance issues, carrier continuing commercial services using ACMI equipment from Aviacsa; limited AOC resumed 20/6/08 for 2 737s, later expanded. AOC suspended 1/6/09 by Mexican DGAC over unpaid fees and restored same day.
