The Ilyushin Il-96 is a four-engine long-range widebody airliner for max. 300 passengers developed by the Soviet design bureau Ilyushin OKB, today JSC Ilyushin Aviation Complex, Russia.

The Il-96 is a shortened long-range development of the Ilyushin Il-86. The Il-96-400 is a stretched version (length 63,94m / 209ft 9in).
