AirlineUpdate.com is owned and maintained by Paul Ellis, a 45-year veteran of the aerospace, publishing and Information Technology industries. Paul started his career as a pilot in the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, flying Sea Vixen FAW1 amd FAW2 fighters. Paul's journalistic and editorial skills were honed as a staff writer on the weekly aviation journal "Flight International", and later as a commissioning editor for the aviation list of Jane's Publishers.
Following several years in the IT wilderness, Paul returned to his aviation roots with a spell at aviation directory publishers "Air Transport Publications", where he was responsible for developing a number of business-to-business directory titles for the airline, airport and air cargo market. This experience has served him well in his present occupation of directory website proprietor.
