Brussels, 31 January 2008 – Aviapartner, Europe’s leading independent ground handler, announces the appointment of Heath White as Chief Operating Officer of the Business Unit Cargo for the whole Aviapartner network, effective 4 February 2008.

In this position, Heath will have full responsibility of all operational and commercial aspects of Aviapartner's 32-station cargo network. The growth in cargo volumes in 2007 is mainly thanks to the acquisition by Aviapartner Cargo of the Amsterdam-based cargo-handler Aero Groundservices in April 2007.

A British national, aged 38, Heath is a professional in the cargo-handling industry, having worked for twelve years in the sector. He has held several senior general, operational and commercial management positions at Swissport International Ltd and Cargo Service Center (Germany).

In his new position, Heath White will be based mainly at Aviapartner Cargo's Head Office in Brussels and can be joined via heath.white@aviapartner.aero. He will report directly to Aviapartner’s CEO, Peter Oostenenk.
